Royal Designs 2 Inch Polished Brass Seashell Lamp Finial for Lamp Shades – Perfect for Coastal, Beach, and Nautical Home Decor

Just as pictured, and goes well with my black iron curtain rods when unlit. When lit, the gold foil lining of my lamp shade casts a beautiful golden glow on the finial. Couldn't be happier!First finial I ordered was great. I decided to order a second one a month later. Second finial was not so great. Had white substance on it and the bottom was loose and could not be tightened. When I requested a replacement, they told me not to bother returning the damaged finial. The replacement was solid enough, but was still spotted with a white substance. It worked out so it was free, as they refunded me for the first damaged finial Ana sent the second at no charge. I was able to effectively cover up the white spots (glue?,) with furniture markers. Also, the shells on both of the damaged finials were off center. Glad for first finial, and grateful for the rebate on the other two, but overall, I cannot recommend this product.Solid, heavy brass... however, the finish is almost black... "antique brass" requires your imagination. Be sure to check measurements. This is a "tall" finial and if you want it to show, be aware... it's more black than antique brass.I couldn't believe I found these fabulous finials on Amazon for my old lamps - look how they match the design on the lamp! They're very sturdy, classy and elegant and look way better in "real life" than in the picture. They would really dress up plain lamps. In HGTV jargon, they make the lamps "Pop". Thank you, Amazon.One of the Shell finials is loose within screw on part. To much trouble to ship back. Will use as is,but not happy with cheaply made poduct.I have a lovely old lamp that was recycled from a person's trash, rewired by my husband and I bought a new shade. The base is marble and it has darkened brass decorative base. I was looking for a finial that would match the antique look of the old brass base. It matches perfectly, looks really nice. You have such a nice selection of finials. It was difficult deciding. I made the right decision. Thank you!I am restoring a 4 bulb ceiling fixture, a Riddle 884, ca 30s or 40s, not sure. I used Pewter Rub n Buff and oil wash for color (sorry antique-o-philes, finish was destroyed already). I have applied the Pewter to my new finial and it is going to be perfect. The only finial among hundreds that looked right.Needed a finial for my beach themed lamp, this fit the bill.
